July 1st Tax Increases

Attention all Regenesis Holistic customers residing in Ontario, Nova Scotia and B.C.

Just a reminder (as if we need it!) that the Harmonized Sales Tax goes into effect July 1st, 2010 for Ontario and British Columbia, as well as a 2% increase in HST for Nova Scotia.

This will mean that all supplements and personal care products will be subject to 13% HST in Ontario and 12% in B.C., while Nova Scotia residents will pay an extra 2% in HST. These products have only been subject to 5% GST (13% in NS) in the past.

The bottom line is that our Ontario customers will save 8% and our B.C. customers will save 7% if orders are placed, processed and shipped before the end of June. Our Nova Scotia customers will save 2%.

With our recent price reductions on almost all of our online products, we expect a large number of orders as people in these 3 provinces stock up on supplements before the tax hikes..

Please help us to cope with this situation by getting your orders in as soon as possible before the end of June.

This extra tax is a hard hit for people taking responsibility for their own health and maybe some day our governments will recognise that good quality supplements are far more beneficial to our Canadian population than all of the junk food cereals, cookies, etc., etc. that are often full of harmful ingredients and not subject to HST.
