Mary graduated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Uxbridge, Ontario, in September 2001 and received International Certification as a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP) with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants.
After two years of presenting nutritional seminars and nutritional consultations, Mary and Glenn opened Regenesis Holistic Resources in Comox, B.C., in August 2003. Regenesis Holistic Resources is a unique health store specializing in high quality dietary supplements, health books, “clean” personal care products and organic foods. Due to strong customer demand, Mary and Glenn have now opened their online store, known as Regenesis Holistic Inc., to serve Canadian and International customers. The online store was incorporated in British Columbia, Canada on August 3, 2006.
Mary attended high school in Powell River, B.C. and obtained her first year of university by distance education from the Department of Education, Victoria, B.C. She then attended the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand in 1965-1966. In 1979 Mary earned her Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate at the Red Deer College in Red Deer, Alberta and in 1984 earned her Montessori Teaching Diploma with the International Association of Progressive Montessorians at the “Veni et Vide” Training Centre in Victoria, B.C.
In 1987, after studying at the University of Victoria and Camosun College in Victoria, Mary attained her Associate of Arts Diploma in Human Services. She has held a Special Needs Educator Certificate, as well as an Early Childhood Educator Certificate, both from the Province of British Columbia.
As the business manager of Regenesis Holistic Inc., Glenn is able to draw on his lifetime of business and management experiences.
Married in 1965, Mary and Glenn have three adult children and four grandchildren. Special interests, in addition to family, are gardening, walking, reading, travel and of course, nutrition. Proud to be supporters of Amnesty International, Friends of Canadian Broadcasting and The Council of Canadians, Mary and Glenn have a keen interest in environmental and human rights issues. They make their home in Comox, British Columbia, a 15 minute walk from the store. |
